Welcome to Unique Touch AF. We’re Anthony and Fiona, and our journey didn't begin with technology, marketing experience, or dreams of becoming online business owners. It began with a major life change that forced us to start over.

A few years ago, we were living a comfortable semi-retired life in South Africa. We had two homes that were fully paid for, no debt, and a successful business that provided a good income. Life was stable, secure, and predictable.

However, circumstances changed. The growing concerns around crime and the lack of employment opportunities for our younger children led us to make one of the most difficult decisions of our lives. Because Anthony is a British citizen, we sold both of our homes and moved to the United Kingdom, hoping it would give our son a better opportunity to build his future.

The move cost far more than we ever expected. A large portion of the money from selling our homes was spent on relocation and on simply surviving as we tried to establish ourselves in a new country. Instead of enjoying semi-retirement, we found ourselves starting from scratch again.

Starting Over in the UK

Both of us began working in the retail industry, working long hours, including evenings and weekends. We were often working 9 am–6 pm, with late nights until 8 pm, and very little time together as a family.

Despite working hard, we struggled to make ends meet, could not build savings, and felt uncertain about our financial future. I (Fiona) reached a point where I felt completely exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed.

Then something unexpected happened. A friend told me he would send me a link. When I looked at it, my immediate thought was: 

“I could never do this.”

I had no IT background, no online business experience, and very little confidence that I could learn something so unfamiliar.

But I decided to take one small step. Then another. And another.

Where We Are Today

Today, Anthony and I work from home, have time to spend with our family, earn an income that gives us stability again, and enjoy the freedom to work when we want and at our own pace.

We discovered that online business does not have to be complicated. With the right guidance, simple systems, and consistent action, ordinary people can learn the skills needed to create a new source of income and a more flexible lifestyle.
